Feeding
A primary focus of P6K Hawaii is food. We don't wait for those in need to find us, we go out and find them! We use many methods to achieve this goal and aren't afraid to go where others refuse.
Meals on the Move
One of our most rewarding experiences is taking fresh cooked meals to those in need. Whether it be a pop-up meal distribution or taking individual meals to someone in crisis, it doesn't matter. We have a saying here.... "Where one can eat, two can eat" and we live by this motto every single day. We host a monthly community Meals on the Move event and distribute individual meals whenever needed and available. We can always use help! How about stepping up and helping us make a difference!
Stocking the Box
Many communities across the islands have placed food donation boxes for those in need. There is no better way to support your immediate local community than by establishing and stocking these boxes. If you need something, take something; If you have something, leave something. We keep a list of these community food boxes and routinely stock them with canned and dry goods for the community to use. If you know of a food box that needs donations, please let us know so we can add it to our list!
